PowerFlex 527

The PowerFlex 527 (bulletin prefix 25C) is an Allen-Bradley AC variable-frequency drive designed for integration with Logix-based control systems, available across a broad range of voltages and horsepower ratings within a single compact family. Decoding the catalog number provides the fastest path to the correct part: the voltage code at position 4 identifies input supply (V = 120 V 1-phase, A = 240 V 1-phase, B = 240 V 3-phase, D = 480 V 3-phase, E = 600 V 3-phase), while positions 5–7 encode the output current and HP rating (2P5 = 2.5 A / 0.5 HP; 4P8 = 4.8 A / 1 HP; 043 = 43 A / 30 HP). Position 8 is always N (IP20 open enclosure, upgradeable to IP30/Type 1 via conduit-box kit), and position 10 selects whether an integrated EMC filter is included (0 = none, 1 = integrated). Notable in-stock examples include the entry-level 25C-V2P5N104 (0.5 HP, 120 V 1-phase) and 25C-E1P7N104 (0.75 kW at 600 V 3-phase), alongside accessories such as the 25C-CTM1 control module and 25C-RCTB removable control terminal block. Consult the PowerFlex 527 Technical Data (25C-TD001) for complete ratings and selection guidance.
