Ordering & Payment

How do I place an order?

Add items to your cart and check out directly on the site. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and purchase orders from qualified businesses. For large or custom orders, you can also submit an RFQ and we'll respond with a quote within 24 hours.

Do you accept purchase orders (POs)?

Yes. Qualified businesses and institutions can pay by purchase order. Contact us at [email protected] to set up net terms.

Can I order by phone or email?

Yes. Email [email protected] or use our Request a Quote form. Include the part number(s), quantities, and any deadline or urgency and we'll take it from there.

Do you offer bulk or volume discounts?

Yes — pricing on larger quantities is often better than what's listed online. Submit an RFQ with your quantities and we'll provide a custom quote.

Can I get a quote before committing to a purchase?

Absolutely. Use our Request a Quote / RFQ form — no obligation, no commitment. We respond to all quote requests within 24 hours.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. All orders ship free via UPS Ground to the continental United States (lower 48 states). No minimum order required.

How fast will my order ship?

Orders placed before 4:00 PM Eastern Time ship the same business day. Orders placed after 4:00 PM ET ship the next business day. All outbound shipments are handed to UPS by 6:00 PM ET.

Do you offer expedited or overnight shipping?

Yes. UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select are available at checkout. For machine-down emergencies, select UPS Next Day Air and place your order before 4:00 PM ET for next-business-day delivery. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We currently ship within the United States. For international shipping inquiries, contact us at [email protected].

How do I track my order?

Tracking information is emailed automatically once your order is transferred to UPS. You can also log in to your account and view tracking under My Account → Orders.

Products & Inventory

Are your products new or used?

All products are new unless explicitly marked as "Refurbished" or "Used" on the product listing. New products include our full 2.5-year warranty.

Do you carry Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation products?

Yes — Allen-Bradley is our most stocked brand. We carry CompactLogix, ControlLogix, PLC-5 / SLC 500, PowerFlex drives, PanelView HMIs, Compact 5000 I/O, Stratix networking, and more. Use the search bar or browse the shop to find specific part numbers.

Do you carry Siemens products?

Yes. We stock SIMATIC S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300, Siemens drives, HMI panels, motor controls, and power supplies. Search by part number or browse all Siemens products.

I can't find the part I need — can you source it?

Yes. We have a large supplier network covering all major automation and controls brands. Submit a quote request with the part number and quantity and we'll get back to you with availability and pricing within 24 hours, no obligation.

What does "Available on Backorder" mean?

The item is not currently in our warehouse but can be ordered. Any available in-stock quantity ships immediately; remaining quantities ship when replenished — typically within 1–2 weeks. We'll contact you with lead time details for any backordered portion of your order.

Do you sell replacement parts, accessories, and I/O modules?

Yes. In addition to PLCs and drives we stock I/O modules, power supplies, HMI panels, networking equipment, motor controls, servo and motion components, and safety devices across Allen-Bradley and Siemens product lines.

Warranty

What warranty do your products come with?

All new products include a free 2.5-year (30-month) warranty backed directly by PLC Exchange. The warranty period begins on the confirmed delivery date. Refurbished and used items are sold as-is unless otherwise noted.

How do I file a warranty claim?

Email [email protected] with your order number, item details, and a description of the issue. We'll review the request and provide return instructions. See our full Warranty Policy for details.

What are my options if a product is defective?

After we evaluate the returned item (typically 5–10 business days), we'll offer either a Warranty Replacement (similar make/model) or a Warranty Refund (full purchase price refunded to your original payment method).

Does the warranty cover installation damage or misuse?

No. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover damage from improper installation, use outside design specifications, accidental damage, or force majeure events. See our Warranty Policy for the full list of exclusions.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of confirmed delivery. All returns require a valid RMA number issued by PLC Exchange before shipping. See our full Return Policy.

How do I start a return?

Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Once approved, we'll issue an RMA number valid for 14 days. Mark the RMA number on the outside of the package before shipping.

Is there a restocking fee?

If the product packaging has been opened or any seal broken, a 30% restocking fee applies. Items returned in original unopened condition are refunded in full (less original shipping). The restocking fee is waived for warranty returns.

Who pays for return shipping?

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return was approved under warranty for a verified manufacturing defect.

Do you buy surplus or excess inventory?

Yes — we purchase surplus and excess automation inventory. If you have equipment to sell, contact us with details and we'll make an offer.

How quickly do you respond to inquiries?

We respond to all quote requests and inquiries within 24 hours on business days, often much faster. For urgent machine-down situations, flag your message as emergency and we'll prioritize it.
