It uses a eutectic (solder-pot) alloy that melts under sustained overcurrent, releasing a ratchet wheel to trip the overload contacts. All Bulletin 592 block-type relays include an optical trip indicator and a manual contact-test module as standard. A field-addable auxiliary N.O. or N.C. contact module can replace the test module if needed. The 592-EUTB accepts three heater elements (ordered separately per 592-TD010) and ships as an open-type 3-pole device with one N.C. auxiliary contact. For motors requiring higher current, the 592-EUTB also covers 120…300 A full-load current ranges as a current-transformer-input type.

Allen-Bradley 592-EUTB
