Allen-Bradley 1784-U2DHP — The Allen-Bradley 1784-U2DHP is a USB-to-Data Highway Plus (DH+) adapter cable that lets modern PCs interface with DH+ networks without requiring a PCMCIA slot. It provides an 8-pin mini-DIN connector on the 2.44 m (8 ft) DH+ end and a USB 0.61 m (2 ft) tail, connecting directly to an unused USB port on a computer. The 1784-U2DHP replaces the older 1784-PCMK PCMCIA card + 1784-PCM6 cable combination and is compatible with PLC-5 processors (except Classic models: PLC-5/10, PLC-5/12, PLC-5/15, PLC-5/25) and SLC 5/04 processors when used with RSLinx Classic software. DH+ communication rates of 57.6, 115.2, or 230.4 Kbps are selectable by a hardware switch on the cable body.
